Global Alliances
In June 2005 Abbott Animal Health, USA selected AAS as their Australian partner. AAS also has alliances with Respironics, Cook Products, Novametrix and Nellcor. AAS distributes Nellcor pulse oximeters, Parks Dopplers, Novametrix Tidal-Wave™ ETCO 2 monitors, Cardell monitors and Datascope multi-parameter vital signs monitors.

Research and Development
AAS R&D has delivered equipment that works including the Stinger™ anaesthetic machine range, waste gas systems, induction chambers, “Rapid Response” crash carts, “Making Work Easy” anaesthesia records, critical situation flow charts, syringe labels and the “VetCocoon” patient warming system.
Quality Assured
It is the objective of Advanced Anaesthesia Specialists to achieve international quality assurance benchmarks for all aspects of business and manufacturing processes and methods. The company places all areas of the business under regular review, with the goal of improving our business practices, products and delivery of service to current and future customers.
For manufactured medical products we will achieve product compliance with medical electronic safety standards (IEC 60601-1) and the medical devices directives of the relevant market.
For anaesthesia vaporiser testing, AAS is committed to maintain certification to Australian Standard ISO/IEC 17025-2005 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”. This policy as is a commitment to training personnel in the implementation and documentation of policies or procedures in their work to preventing non-conformities and eliminating their causes.
